Welcome to TinySign! Aussie babies have a lot to say and we’re here to help them say it! Through our award-winning baby signing classes and home-learning kit we’ll help you to understand your baby well before they can talk - and allow your baby to let you know just what they are interested in too!

It really does give you a ‘window’ to their mind when they let you know that they’ve noticed things like the bird in the tree or that they feel thirsty or would like to read a book please! Baby signing also encourages your baby to make attempts at speech too- so watch out! Yes, you’ll soon have a little chatterbox on your hands but a very happy, contented understood little chatterbox.

TinySign is the sister company to TinyTalk in the UK, Ireland and United Arab Emirates. We’ve been going from strength to strength for 5 years now since we launched in 2002 as the first baby signing organisation across the UK. We are now a team of over 100 teachers and are the baby signing organisation of choice, working with a wide range of government-backed organisations, leading brands and senior academics.

Why not try a TinySign class with your baby? The classes are an hour long each week, with 30 minutes of fun, lively songs, a theme of Auslan signs, musical instrument time and shared book time. It’s an active session as we bounce, jiggle and tickle our babies throughout. Your baby will adore it and you’ll be pleased that we also save you gym membership with the exercise!

Then there are 30 minutes more! It’s time for our ‘social and support’ half hour when it’s playtime for the little ones and a cup of coffee and a chocolate biscuit for you - perfect! It’s a great time to learn more about baby signing from the other mums but you do have permission to talk about anything else you want to too! It’s ‘me time’ which, I know, is rare for new mums. My 2 ‘babies’ are now 4 and 6 but, with my background in teaching deaf children, they were the inspiration for where we are now! Read more here….
